The new school year is upon us. Time to register!

This year, we are doing things a bit differently. La petite fanfare will have Open Doors on the afternoons (3 to 7 pm) of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday following Labor Day.

Comme to 513 Hwy 105 and meet La petite fanfare staff and register for your classes.

Please note that people wanting to pay for their classes by cheques or cash must come by during the Open Doors days and register.


For the ninth straight year, La petite fanfare will be offering music day camps in July and August. The camps will be held at Grand-Boisé School.

This year, we are proposing SIX bilingual music camps of ONE WEEK (FIVE DAYS) each.

The camps are for children of elementary school age (5 to 12 years old). Each day, campers attends one private class, learning their chosen instrument (guitar, piano, ukulele, violin). Each day as well, they play together in instrument class as well as in ensemble with other instruments. Daily workshops in dance, choral music, active listening, musical mime, musical games are also on the menu. A final show is presented to parents and friends.

Child care is available in the morning (doors open at 7:30 am) and in the afternoon (from 4 pm to 6 pm).

Here are the dates:

First camp, from July 1 to July 5;
Second camp, from July 8 to July 12; C O M P L E T
Third camp, from July 15 to July 19;
Fourth camp, from July 22 to July 26;
Fifth camp, from July 29 to August 2;
Sixth camp from August 5 to August 9.


Cost is $245 per child and per camp, including instruments and daycare. Limit of 20 children per camp is firm. First come, first served.

End-of-year concerts on May 12 — 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm.

The concerts marking the end of the academic year 2018 – 2019 will take place on Sunday, May 12 at 2, 4 and 6 pm. They will be held at Grace United Church, on Mill Rd. Admission is free.
